Adam Green – Sixes and Sevens

Sixes and Sevens is brilliant, slightly tongue-in-cheek anti-folk crooner gorgeousness! However, if we are all being honest we expected no less from everyone’s favourite little maverick – Adam Green. My favourite, favourite track is Grandma Shirley and Papa. It clocks in at just over 2 minutes (to be expected with AG) but in those 2 minutes it had three sections that you just want to rewind so you can play them again and again and again. ‘And you’ve got to survive in a mothers eyes see the womans side of the storm’
Another good choice would be Leaky Flask. My friend for some reason got confused about the title of this song and thought it was called ‘My Juicy Flask’ which, despite being arguably better, makes much less sense. Download it below and then buy the other 19 tracks here (and if you’re going to one of the festivals he’ll be at, don’t even hesitate to go see him. he’s amazing live)
