The Answering Machine

Forget the Courteneers, fresh back from SXSW the Answering Machine are the Manchester band to watch out for.
I saw them supporting The Rumble Strips at Sheffield’s Leadmill last November and i think it was clear to everyone to everyone there that it should have been the other way round. They blew rumble strips away and led to my friend going home and buying all their music off itunes!
They’re playing The Urbis Festival in Manchester on 5th July. As far as i can tell it’s free so if your in the area i’d highly recommend going!
